WHITEPINE MONASTERY
Overview
About two days north of Solstice, the Whitepine Monastery serves as the primary training grounds for priests of Nereus, in particular those who wish to study to join the Sapphire Guard, Nereus' order of war priests. It has a fairly isolated location outside of the city, designed to help priests learn patience and calm without interruption.
Below the monastery can be found the Vault of Echoes, a repository of memories left by followers of Nereus over the years. It is a massive collection of memory spheres that have been designed to be preserved indefinitely. Typically these serve as messages left to others from individuals who are near the end of their life and want to create records.

Has a reputation as a tough as nails leader who ensures his priests have the best training. He can be short tempered, but has built a strong reputation after years of getting results. Serves as an influential member of the Sapphire Guard, though they have no official leadership outside of the traditional church structure.
