Description
Directness and honesty is a common trait among followers of Ameir, and often it can make them come off as harsh or callous. The Church encourages followers of Ameir to live their lives in a way that they have nothing to hide. Deception and secrets are permitted only in the most extreme circumstances, when doing otherwise would put lives or society at risk. Even so, a priest who engages in dishonesty requires ritual atonement.
Ameir's relationship with his twin sister Reima is at best considered a rivalry, though at times it can border on animosity. The two recognize their own duality and neither seeks to destroy the other. And they do share some common ground in their respect for knowledge and arcane magics. But in practice their objectives are often at odds, and clergy that follow them will commonly be working directly against one another's goals. Of his two parents, he is more closely aligned with Nereus as both seek stability and preservation.
