Born in Silverstone to a large family, he went to Solstice to become a Winter Knight to honor his father's wishes.  Found strength in his own arcanely crafted armor.

Always eager to prove himself the hero, Magnus will readily thrust himself into danger and takes every opportunity to lead.

Father, Disgraced Knight, and Miner

Bjorn was once a member of the Winter Knights and served in the War of Shattered Thunder alongside Haldor Ironeyes.  During this war, he convinced his unit to allow a giant to surrender on promise that he would flee the battlefield.  The giant returned to ambush his squad, killing most of his men.  He was dishonorably discharged.

After this, he and his wife Gyda left Solstice and moved to Silverstone, where he worked as a miner.  He was always quiet about his past, but always kept the blade he wielded as a knight over his mantle.  He always encouraged his son, Magnus, to follow in his footsteps to join the order.

During the destruction of Silverstone, it is believed he escaped alongside his family.  His current location is unknown.
